Our Colour Party met in East Belfast first to receive our new bannerette.
We then made our way to meet our lodge to start the parade. And as usual East Belfast had amazing crowds out cheering on the bands. All of the bands then took a well needed break. We then made our way back up the Newtownards road.
With each side of the road lined up with supporters. All in all it was a brilliant day with the band playing very well. The band would like to thank lodge for walking with our band. its very much appreciated.

The band formed up on a side street to start the parade. We then made our way through the route which had changed from last year. As usual the Shankill road had amazing crowds out cheering on the bands. We then made our way back to the mural where the parade started.
With each side of the road lined up with supporters the Shankill road always gives the bands a good buzz. All in all it was a brilliant day with the band playing well.

The band met at Old Mossley where we paraded around our estate. Then the band went to a Lodge members house. We walked a short distance round his estate before getting something to eat. We then made our way to East Belfast where we met up with the main parade in the City Centre. It was a very warm day. And a long route to walk. But as usual it was brilliant with alot of big crowds in every corner the band turned. We then got to the field where we headed to the Raven Social Club in East Belfast for food and drinks. Getting a much needed rest. We then made our way back to the field to start the long walk home. We did the bouncy bouncy on a number of occasions on the way home, the band fully enoying the great weather and the great crowds. We then made our way to East Belfast to end the parade. The band stopped at the Raven Social club and then made our way home. It was brilliant day, and the band would like to thank the Lodge that escorted us, we hope we have this lodge for years to come.

AWARDED: Best Drum Major
The band made their way to Comber where we paraded straight away so we could watch the rest fo the parade. The route had changed since the last time we paraded their. As usual it was brilliant parade especially under the bridge at the end, which always has big crowds on each side. I noticed that we passed more bands than usual. Once we got to the bridge thats when the buzz kicked in with the crowd cheering our drum major on, who as usual does a brilliant job. What was funny was that the crowd cheered more when he dropped it. The band had a great time watching the end of the parade. With great bands such as, East Belfast Proddy Boys, Pride Of Knockmore, Mourne Young Defenders and the East Belfast U.V.F band, who put on an amazing drum show. One band who gets better eveytime i see them is the Sons Of Ulster Shankill. All in all it was a brilliant day with the band playing well. The band picked up Best Drum Major, so well done to Al for a brillaint show.
