We have 4 bands in our local area who are all trying to attract new members, but with the amount of bands in such a small area this can be quite difficult.

We hope that all of the local bands can keep going and help maintain our Ulster/Protestant heritage in Newtownabbey.

Pride Of The Hill, Carnmoney

The Pride Of The Hill started a number of years ago and have proved to be an excellent band. They parade in memory of David Lee. They are a Blood and Thunder band. For more information on Pride Of The Hill you can visit them by Clicking Here.

Monkstown Y.C.V, Monkstown

Monkstown Y.C.V have been going for a number of years and gone from strenght to strenght. They are a Blood and Thunder band. They have grown rapidly in the last few years.

Sons Of The Kai, Rathcoole

The Sons Of The Kai re-formed in 2006. With a break up in the early 80s the band dissapeared, gladly they are back on the road. The band is massive in numbers with alot of young members, their future looks very healthy.
